Hi All Thanks anix and all the others....I am a kernel newbie and from the module I have attached above I migrated to the new kernel 2.4.20 ,this same module compiled flawlessly in kernel 2.4.4 using gcc2 but in this kernel using gcc3 i have errors...pls help me...thanks... I get the error of unresolved symbols and prohramming error..pls help....me.. PS:the driver I hace send is used for basic for paraller port mamangement using PIO or MMIO modes.Pls tell me if u want me to do anything specific...ANirudh can u tell me whether I need more standards for matching industry level code...thanks... thanks a lot..george __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
