Hello,

Sorry.. I am not getting what you are trying to say...What do you mean by
reference counter here.?? I am a software person...

I am using the Coyote IXP425 platform from ADI..!!..

I tried to read the OSTS register to get the number of clock ticks.From
kernel space i could do it. but from user space i couldnt ..i am getting 
compilation errors when i try to include asm/hardware.h from user space.
Is there anyway out?
