hi all, this is regarding kernel ver 2.2.14. the function wake_up_process is for making a process runnable. however it checks whether the process was already in the runqueue by checking the next_run pointer of the process descriptor. is it possible for a process to be in runqueue prior to the function being invoked. if yes, could someone plz tell me how is it. regards sumit ________________________________________________________________________ Yahoo!
