Overrinding ".config"

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,
We are a bunch of developers working on the same kernel, using
an rcs-like tool.
".config" is one of the files that's under the tool's control, and that
usually makes sense.

However, some of us are now using a slightly different hw platform,
which requires a minor adjustment for kernel configuration.
Other config options should keep sync between people.
Now there are pros and cons for sharing ".config"

Without breaking the kernel-make-logic, how can we tailor a
simple and effective solution ?

TIA
