Re: 2.4.19 kernel on dual CPU box sees 4 CPUs

 check ur /proc/cpuinfo
and in flags section look for "ht"
and in /proc/cpuinfo if u r seeing 4 cpus that means u
have hyper threading enabled.

Now if u want to see only 2 processors go to bios and
diable hyperthreading.
