Regarding "mmap" system call use to access physical memory device

Hi All !

  I wanted to know whether we can use the mmap()
system
call to map a memory-mapped physical device address ,
by passing the "physical address" of the memory-mapped

device as the last parameter in the system call .

   Elaborate explanations are welcome .
