Hello
I have a 133Mhz laptop ,Redhat6.0 with only / inside and my home is in
external SCSI hard disk plugged with Adaptec 1460 .(aha152x )
I would like to change kernel 2.2.5-15 to 2.4.5 .
I upgrade minimum level of software necessary to run the 2.4 kernels (
with modutils 2.4.16 and others )
But i have problems .After "make " and "make install" modutils and
restart laptop i cannot start external SCSI hard disk, ZIP SCSI,and i have not sound .
I try to move /etc/conf.modules (with config SCSI and sound ) to /etc/modules.conf but
it does not match :lsmod FAILED , sound not OK.and of course SCSI hard disk doesn't match .
Could you help me please ?
