Have a look at mharc, <http://www.mhonarc.org/mharc/>.

Thanks Earl, but....

Nope! no clearer sorry. I have no requirement for web cgi-bin stuff, In fact I haven't got cgi-bin access, I'm just using my public_html and letting my site search do the indexing. So I need to make flat files...

Also the mail is delivered into thunderbird and this does the filtering to give me an mbox which I weekly archive. So I've no requirement for procmail or similar...

I can only take the mbox once a week and just make the web tree - which I then rsync --delete into the web path...

I have to say, the documentation for mhonarc and mharc is as clear as mud! Without being able to read perl, I've really struggled to get to grips with it. :(

Which bits of mhonarc and mharc should I actually look at to achieve what I need to do...

basic mhonarc "works" as I need it to but maybe there is a bit of mharc which can help me do the yearly indexing...

but which bit!!

Cheers for any help...
