As far as I can tell the Bugreport is a little chaotic and it is
possible that 2 Bugs got mixed together. But it is very much possible
that they are at least related if not the same.
In my case the Bug seems to only be present with the facebook app from
the package "Extra protocol plugins for Conversations and Contacts"
version 0.8 which requires the "Pidgin protocols plugin for
Conversations and Contacts". And as a couple of people wrote the merged
IM-account (facebook) does not get unmerged but recreated. Which
suggests that there is something wrong with the check whether the
IM-account already exists.
