I would like the ability to record using a noise mode where the program would 
pause if the level of noise was below a certain level ideally set by the user 
and would record as long as the noise level was above a certain level.  This 
would allow us to use the n900 as a monitoring device without wasting storage 
space on long moments of silence.

Think of trying to show someone they snore..  You'd leave it on the dresser 
ready to record once they where asleep.  In the morning all the proof for a 
doctor or spouse that you need.
