I think this is related to which cards you have (I understood they
were Qmemory and SimpleTech).  There are no problems with well-known
memory card brands (like Kingston or Sandisk which we can buy and
test here...).

So far the issue seems also to be N800 specific.  If anybody has
encountered this with N810, I would be interested!

This means that the Omweather settings has a bug and its crash
brings down also the whole Desktop (applets are in same process
with Desktop to save RAM) and when Desktop is restarted it
(by design) disables all (home) applets as it doesn't know which
one of them caused the crash.  Please file a bug against Omweather.
