It goes by the ID3 tags, and organizes based on a single field. If you have more than one album by the same artist(s), it will not only play an album out of order, it will mix together albums as well. Pretty ugly situation if you are an album listener like me. I either want a true shuffle, which mixes up everything on the playlist, or to listen to an album in its original order. I haven't found a way to achieve the latter.
