Playing MPEG-2 or .tivo files on N800 OS2008

SOLVED.

I was able to convert .TiVo files to .mpg (MPEG2) for play on mplayer
by following the instructions here http://www.apecity.com/tivo/

This converted .TiVo files from my Series 2 Tivo --> XP Pro SP2 -->
N800 with mplayer

As it relies upon mplayer and mencoder, assuming you have the necessary codecs, you can probably convert those files to something mplayer on your tablet can play.
