That bug is about ogg/theora support for N770 Mediaplayer, not about Mediaplayer in newer releases supporting user installed codecs. Bug about this should be something like this: STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1. Install code package codec-foo from repository bar 2. Browse to URL foo.bar.org/songs.html and tap to the song.foo file EXPECTED RESULT: - Mediaplayer starts to play nice-song.foo - Eero
