That's the normal mode of operation for SyncML with clients running on
the various devices (or SyncEvolution for Evolution on a desktop) and
one server which all clients connect to.

As Lars said, there's a port of SyncEvolution to the Nokia 770/800 which
in theory could synchronize a Dates calendar (which uses the Evolution
backend). In practice the Evolution libs on the device currently aren't
up to the task, you will get timeout errors. Contacts work.
