nforce3 250gb vs. 250 support

Hi,

Looking in kernel 2.6.17 I see in module i2c-nforce2.c that it supports 
the nforce3 250gb MCP, but I find nothing about the nforce3 250 chip.

Does that mean the latter is not supported? I am looking at 2 mobo's 
that have it and want to make sure support is available before I buy.
