Thanks a lot for your help.
As i'd like to stay on kernel 2.6.8.1 for a few months more (too much work 
done on it), i decided to solve the problem by myself. I wrote a small 
programm in c to compute a value between 0 and 255 according to the 
temperature of cpu, gpu and motherboard. With a 4 lines shell script it can 
set fan speed (fan1_pwm) at a regular pace. And that worls great. Each time, 
a sensors gets a lot of celsius, the fan gets a lot of rpms....
