IV. Smart Sensors Series from Applied Microsystems Ltd.

The Applied Microsystems Ltd. Smart Sensor Series is a family of pre-calibrated sensors designed to
easily interface to a data collection platform. The entire series is designed to have standardized
electrical, mechanical and communication features. Smart Sensors provide a low cost, high resolution,
high accuracy solutions for different applications. All Smart Sensors communicate to a host data logger
or computer via RS-232, TTL serial port, or multi-sensor RS-485 communication loop at data rates to
38,400 baud. Custom sensors and configurations are available for specific applications upon request.
