Curiously, I'm on Clear and had not removed the 'welcome.' part from my WiMAX_DB.bin file, so I just tried that ... For me, speedtest.net shows no difference in bandwidth between the two (at the moment I'm getting about 8mb down 1mb up with either realm).

I have been having problems for quite some time where if I establish my wimax connection in an area with very weak signal or while I'm moving in a car or train, I often get stuck in the "We have an important message for you" loop, but can get out of it by turning my radio off and back on a few times (I don't have this problem if I turn the radio on in an area with strong signal - I'm guessing some handshake or authentication packet getting lost or delayed triggers this?) ... I'll have to do some testing to see if that is still the case now that I've changed realms...
