That looks then like IDLE mode is kicking in and then it is not being
recovered. That is kind of expected, because you need integration for
that to happen (when coming out of IDLE mode, a DHCP renegotiation has
to happen) -- this is something that is currently not integrated.

If using network manager, you can use the applet to re-select the WiMAX
connection to renegotiate a DHCP address. That will make it go through
again.
