They are two different hardware devices, > right? > The ethernet controller sits on the ehci-bus. This chip (OMAP4460) has no on- board MAC. If we were to attach our camera to the ehci-bus we'd need to share bandwidth with ethernet traffic. I hope that makes it clear.
