Can you generate a log where bytes are actually lost? Nothing seemed to
get lost in the previous log you posted.

Make sure debugfs is mounted:

	mount -t debugfs none /sys/kernel/debug

and then enable debugging:

	echo "module usbserial +p" >/sys/kernel/debug/dynamic_debug/control
	echo "module pl2303 +p" >/sys/kernel/debug/dynamic_debug/control
