Hello,
I've also reported this in the bug tracker as
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50791 but was advised there
to bring it to the attention of the mailing list.
Recently, I was given a usb-to-parallel adapter cable but the latest
mainline kernel does not recognize it. I can't find any identifying
information on the cable itself. Please let me know what information I
can provide to get this supported. An excerpt from the syslog is
included and available online at
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/attachment.cgi?id=86701. The output from
lsusb is unchanged before and after plugging in the cable. Thank you for
your support.
Best regards
Rolf
