On a new computer only one of the USB connectors in the front of the chassi work, below is output from dmesg, and I would like to know if you have any advice if the fault is on the motherboard or in the cable and connector. The two USB ports uses the same cable and the same connector to the motherboard so one can not install only one of them good and one bad. Both are USB 2.0.
