Did you try installing the driver cando 6.2.35 ? after disabling the
smartcharge. We can do something if we can known for sure what touch
screen controller it uses and try contacting its vendor.

Have you visited these two websites before?

1. There is a French project that is developing multi-touch driver.
The site is "http://www.lii-enac.fr/en/architecture/linux-input/index.html#drivers";
Have you ever tried that?

2. Another site i came accross is "http://www.touch-base.com/unsupported.asp";

Try this and let me known it was helpful?
