Problem with trying and fix everybody's bugs is that the fix may break
code that uses the module properly.

For instance, what the code does is never closes the file which means
that after an eject, the file system on the device that holds the file
cannot be unmounted.  I can imagine that someone might have a use case
where this is an issue.
