If a very popular OS is sending 'eject' to removable media when the user instructs it to unmount, I'm pretty sure the user still wants it to function when they unplug the device and then go plug it in somewhere else.
Problem with trying and fix everybody's bugs is that the fix may break code that uses the module properly. For instance, what the code does is never closes the file which means that after an eject, the file system on the device that holds the file cannot be unmounted. I can imagine that someone might have a use case where this is an issue. -- Best regards, _ _ .o. | Liege of Serenely Enlightened Majesty of o' \,=./ `o ..o | Computer Science, Michał “mina86” Nazarewicz (o o) ooo +----<email/xmpp: mpn@xxxxxxxxxx>--------------ooO--(_)--Ooo-- -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-usb" in the body of a message to majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
