Now I am totally confused. All two devices 
(19d2:0063 and 12d1:1506)
 I have already used with qmi_wwan are also bound to "option" in some way.

I "think" the 12d1:14c8 should doing it in the same/similar way.

I can only provide the device infos and test-results.
