Did this ever make it into staging please? I note that the git
repository you refer to no longer has the driver on it.
Fujitsu laptops have started arriving with MC8305 modules that neither
qcserial nor sierra pick up on. Happy to polish what you have if it is
still out there.

Please let me know. If you could CC me please, I am not subscribed to
linux-usb.
