Hi guys,

I'm just writing to you to ask for your assistance / views / tips on how to go about creating a hardware USB interface and the related linux drivers to control a 3 motor and 2 servo system, which I wish to create to make a 3D cnc drilling machine. I'm quite new to the area of hardware creation and programming, as I have only previously worked with software based solutions.
Background: 17 year old looking to make this as a project.
I am not a programming 'noob', however I haven't worked with kernel before!

If you could help I would very much appreciate it.

Ryan
