Hello,
I've bought a new Intenso Music Walker MP3 player, which should be
detected as USB storage device.
I've tried to plug this device to all USB ports, I have on my PC, and
anything, I get, is the following:
usb 2-1: USB disconnect, address 7
usb 2-1: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 8
usb 2-1: New USB device found, idVendor=0402, idProduct=5668
usb 2-1: New USB device strings: Mfr=3, Product=1, SerialNumber=2
usb 2-1: Product: Intenso Music Walker
usb 2-1: Manufacturer: ALi Corp.
usb 2-1: SerialNumber: 91029639100000001403
scsi13 : usb-storage 2-1:1.0
usb 2-1: USB disconnect, address 8
usb 1-6: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 4
usb 1-6: New USB device found, idVendor=0402, idProduct=5668
usb 1-6: New USB device strings: Mfr=3, Product=1, SerialNumber=2
usb 1-6: Product: Intenso Music Walker
usb 1-6: Manufacturer: ALi Corp.
usb 1-6: SerialNumber: 91029639100000001403
scsi14 : usb-storage 1-6:1.0
Means: For some reason, I never get the required /dev/sdX device.
How can I find out what's the reason for this problem?
Thanks in advance
Yours
Manuel Reimer
