[ANN] hidrd 0.2.0 released

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello everyone,

I've just released a new version of hidrd - HID report descriptor library
and tool [1].

It is developed within the DIGImend project [2] and is supposed to
substitute the HID Descriptor Tool made by the USB Implementers Forum [3].

New features include:
* XML input support
* Specification example format (plain-text) output support
* C source code output support

This is in addition to native format input and XML and native format output
supported in the previous release [4].

You can take a look at the conversion examples [5].

The package can be downloaded here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/digimend/files/hidrd/0.2/hidrd-0.2.0.tar.gz/download

Most probably it contains a lot of bugs,
so please don't hesitate to report them [6].

Thank you for your attention.

Sincerely,
Nick

P.S. Is it acceptable to make such announcements here from time to time?
I apologise, if it is not allowed and will not send them any more.

P.P.S. Anyone willing to help please send in [7] any of your input device
descriptors. You can dump them with the help of hidrd-dump [8]
utility, although it dumps the first interface only, currently.
       Thank you in advance :)
