  That's been already done in the recent version of the patch.

As we have to change the current implementation in accordance with
standard DMA APIs, we will take above comments and post it in next RFC.

Hum, not really sure about how well it would fit drivers/dma/ -- I need to study the infrastructure there first. But my impression was that controllers supported there should support memory-to-memory DMA. Perhaps it was wrong...
