Given how many reposts went around, you need to highlight
technical deltas.  What surely happened here is that I
pulled in a boatload of patches that was current, then
sometime between that time and the time I was done
testing/etc a new patch came along ... but it seemd like
just a refresh, didn't mention technical changes.

   The repost did have the following text after the tearline:

Intended to replace the patch currently in Greg's quilt tree.
Slightly speed-optmized the fast exit path in case when it's not CPPI IRQ.
