Thanks for that, yeah it's just strange because the cables even have
"SS" written on them. When I look online for a hub, it seems there's a
lot of ones with type-c connectors that only work at usb2/highspeed

Pretty sure it can't be the bios/motherboard becuse I have separate
cards as well. Pcie rev 2.0 4x and a pcie rev 3.0 1x
