it just got a bit more complicated..

we've found, it randomly sometimes works, sometimes not
on all those kernels (3.10, 3.13, 3.14),
so it's not that on <=3.13 it doesn't work and for 3.14 it
works.

I'll try to gather some debug info on failing cases and report
further..
