Hi Glen-and-All: From what I experienced as well as writing back-and-forth with
Chris, Speakup-and-Fenrir don't play well together. So, maybe some1 can provide
a command to unload that module, or run
ps -A
and look for speakup, then run
kill -9 speakup process
