speakup in raspberry pi modules

Are you saying the Raspberry Pi foundation recently issued a firmware 
update for fedora that includes the speakup modules? You can get fedora, 
arch, and debian on a raspberry pi. If the speakup modules are not 
included in debian and arch, that leaves fedora.  When did this happen?
