You missed the point. I have Arch working with speech but I want to know how it is set up. I installed using the Talking Arch image and Arch booted up talking but I never touched any configuration of Speakup modules. I installed the base system + alsa-utils + espeakup and saved the state of the soundcard as outlined in the installation guide. Rebooted and Speakup came up talking. I can't find any reference to Speakup in /etc but the modules are loaded: arch ~# grep -r 'speakup' /etc/ arch ~# lsmod | grep speakup speakup_soft 3466 1 speakup 71012 1 speakup_soft arch ~# Please explain :) -----Original Message----- From: Speakup [mailto:speakup-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Alonzo Cuellar Sent: 29. juni 2013 17:43 To: Speakup is a screen review system for Linux.
