speakup goes oops/bye-bye on wheezy

Hi Greg,
Is speakup being loaded with the "quiet" module parameter?  If so,
try loading the module without it.
If the crash goes away when the parameter is removed, then you're
dealing with a known bug that was fixed over a year ago, and the patch
just hasn't made it into your kernel yet.
