Depending on processor you could probably get away with installing Gentoo on it. If you can wrap your head around the manual instalation via ssh you'd have to do. -----Original Message----- From: speakup-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:speakup-bounces at braille.uwo.ca] On Behalf Of Kerry Hoath Sent: May 23, 2009 12:43 AM To: Speakup is a screen review system for Linux. Subject: Linuxes to run on eeepc 701s or netbooks? Just curious what people are running on their netbooks etc with low storage? I have an eeepc701 with 4gb storage, 8gb sd-card and 2gb of ram was considering grml, anyone running something different on similar config? I have netbooks with hard disks that can probably run vinux or full ubuntu; but thought I could do better than Debian 4.0 on the 701. Regards, Kerry. _______________________________________________ Speakup mailing list Speakup at braille.uwo.ca http://speech.braille.uwo.ca/mailman/listinfo/speakup
