Hi listers, I started a page describing support for Speakup on the various distributions of GNU/Linux. It isn't linked into the main site just yet. The URL is http://linux-speakup.org/distros.html. It's also available as the file distros.html, if you have a git clone of the Speakup website. I need more information, specifically about Slackware. If you use Speakup on a recent release of Slackware, I'd be interested to know the steps involved in making it work. I know Speakup is included on the Slackware CDs. I used it for a number of years, but I haven't done a Slackware install since late 2006 or so. The memory is rusty! Info about other distributions that aren't yet listed in distros.html is most welcome! Regards, -- Chris
