speakupconf

Hi,

When I run speakupconf save I get the error:
no directory /sys/accessibility/speakup

How do I fix this issue? I thought speakupconf would just save my
settings that I am currently using if I give the save option. Then I use
load to restore them later. Is this correct? How do I get around the
error I just mentioned?

I'm using speakup\conf straight from debian testing (squeeze).
[from the speakup-tools package]

Thanks for any help,
Dan.
