Doesn't Yasr run on Bsd?

All,

Still on access to BSD systems, I've found this statement at the Yasr
screen reader page:

"It thus does not use any features specific to Linux and can be ported to other Unix-like operating
systems without too much trouble. The current version should also run under FreeBSD, NetBSD, and Solaris (thanks to
Rich Burridge
for the Solaris port)."

As I know, the most recent Yasr version is able to communicate with
speech-dispatcher, so that perhaps it would be possible to use it with
ESpeak under a BSD or solaris system.

Have someone tested it?

The Yasr homepage is:
http://yasr.sourceforge.net/

Thanks,
Cleverson
