slackware 12.1 kernel copying?

For doing a kernel copy is everything copied from the /kernels/speakup.s/
directory into /boot or is it just the bzImage file that gets copied? I
never had a need to copy a kernel from an installation disk like this
before and one of the error lines that came up without doing this on the
cdrom's set had to do with bunzip2 not finding a file. Would bunzip2
normally uncompress bzImage to vmlinuz in the /boot/ directory?
