Hi Chuck: apt-get install git-core and then: git-clone http://linux-speakup.org/speakup.git There is an installation guide and a read me and all the usual suspects for source based packages. There is no checkout style script which does everything including washing the dishes anymore. There's a couple of scripts depending on whether you are building into the kernel or as modules.
