Hi Lorenzo,

I prefer espeak too, but my first shot at translating a whole file was
disappointing. It created a wav file of the expected size, but aplay
played only the first sentence and quit with a normal exit. I need to
review the espeak options to see if there's something I was forgetting.
Foir instance, the swift engines have an option to ignore any imbedded
synth commands. If espeak had such an option I might have better luck.
It's an easy modification though. Any suggestions welcome

Chuck
