There is a kickstart file for ubuntu available on the internet for installing ubuntu. If you search for it on the internet a boot: line like ks=http://cwelug.org/~rwcitek/ubuntu/ks.cfg <cr> may start it up. You want to read that kickstart file first so that way you'll know what your user name and password will be in order to get access once the install is done. One warning about that kickstart file is your whole hard drive will have ubuntu on it, so if you have a windows installation you want to keep that kickstart file will wipe it out.
