NumPad 8 Rapidly?

Subject: NumPad 8 Rapidly?

I am still useing a DecTalk-USB.  If I press the "read current line" key, twice 
rapidly, it will say 1.  If the line is blank, it will just say "blank"  I may 
have heard other numbers.  Thanks in advance for an odd inquiree
