Hi Greg, I can't find from where speechd-up is envoked so I can do this automatically. I know that there is, in Gentoo, a /etc/init.d/speechd-up file, but there isn't one in Ubuntu that I can find. Is there some other place I should look? Thanks, Zack. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gregory Nowak" <greg@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Speakup is a screen review system for Linux." <speakup at braille.uwo.ca> Sent: Monday, August 13, 2007 10:30 AM Subject: Re: Low Speakup volume in Ubuntu? > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > Zack, you need to invoke speechd-up with the -t flag.
