Hello folks,

Have any of you heard of or use the editor called Joe? It is very nice,
with the features of Vi and with the ease of use of Nano and Pico. Like in
Vi, however, Speakup echos a bunch of numbers when typing or deleting text.
This is extremely irritating. Any ideas on how to solve this? I did
disable the status bar at the top with the column and line numbers in it,
thinking that was what is being echoed but that doesn't seem to remedy the
problem. with the exception of this annoyance, I recommend this editor.
Its man page is complete and accurate and the program has heeps of features.

Also, I am still unable to access the Speakup CVS. Kirk mentioned a couple
of days back that it should be up now but after typing the CVS password I
receive "Connection Refused." Until I am able to access this server, I will
not be able to upgrade my kernel.

Thanks,
Robby
